Hi! I’m Katy, a food and beverage photographer and food stylist based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I love working with clients to achieve their marketing goals. Whether it’s holiday themed photos for social media or fresh imagery for a new product launch, creative collaboration with clients is one of my favorite parts of the job.

Now in its third printing, I wrote and photographed my cocktail book Homemade Happy Hour to teach beginning mixologists how to stock a fantastic home bar and craft delicious cocktails and mocktails. Beautiful, clear imagery with food styling that showed off the ingredients was extremely important for each of the 52 recipes in the book.

I’m also the photographer and content creator behind MittenGirl.com, a food and drink website full of recipes for creating the best happy hour sips and snacks at home. Each recipe features detailed process images and a variety of hero shots so users can easily follow along and craft something delicious.
